Balanced Events

Connection through movement.

At Balanced, we believe that understanding your body is the first step toward lasting resilience. Our events are designed to take you beyond the daily workout, offering a deeper look at the science of movement, nutrition, and holistic wellness.

Whether you are looking for clinical insights in a classroom setting, hands-on practice to refine your form, or a social event to connect with your pilates friends, our events provide a supportive space to grow alongside your neighbors in Midland.

Educational Workshops

Learn and grow together.

Our workshops are designed for the curious mind and those who want to tap into a deeper understanding of their body’s mechanics, get expert guidance on movement and dietary trends, and ask questions.

Led by experts like Dr. Abbey Thornock, PT, DPT, and Dr. Dawn Earnesty, PhD, RDN, these sessions focus on the "why" behind your health.

Some workshops are more seminar-style, while others are more interactive with participation and guidance.

Supplements: What You Need, What You Don’t, and What Could Be Harmful

July 10, 2026, 12:15-1:05pm

The supplement industry is booming. From collagen powders to magnesium blends to “metabolism boosters,” it can be overwhelming to know what is beneficial, unnecessary, or even risky.

Participants will learn how nutrient needs change with age, how medications interact with supplements, and how to evaluate supplement quality and marketing claims. Rather than promoting or dismissing supplements, this session helps make informed, safe, and cost-effective decisions tailored to individual needs.

Studio Challenges & Socials

Fun, collective goals & community connection.

Whether it’s our March Matness or Turkey Tune Up studio challenge or a community-wide Walkathon, our community events are designed to make health social and enjoyable.

No matter your starting point, you belong here.
